MYND FM is the official radio station of the Akenten Appiah – Menka University of Skills training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), located at Tanoso-Kumasi, off the Kumasi-Sunyani road. The station is located on the last floor of Block “C” of the Autonomy hall.
MYND FM obtained its operational license from the National Communications Authority (NCA) on September 02, 2002 and has since been operational. The station has run its own programmes since it started its operations, hence being nicknamed as “Your most vibrant Campus radio”. The station is not for commercial purposes and for that matter, a non profit making entity.
The station has students as its main staff but a University staff oversees all activities as a Coordinator.
MYND FM opereates on a frequency of 105.1MHz on normal radio and for online radio, the station could be heard on the following links:
